We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at WPE Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, planning and designing highway/roadway projects, and developing construction specifications and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough feasibility studies to identify potential project risks and opportunities
- Develop and implement effective project plans, including timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop water and waste management systems
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water resources
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
- Excellent communication and project management skills
