About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bombay Vintage Inc. as a Head Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our culinary standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning customers.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that our kitchen operations run smoothly.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen budgets and ensure that we are operating within our financial means.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Language: English.
