We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at DESI MANDI. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Supervision: Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and quality control, ensuring that all menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for our kitchen staff, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge and advance their careers.
  • Restaurant Operations: Collaborate with our restaurant operations team to ensure that our kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently, and that we are meeting our sales and customer service targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
