Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Bayview Stone. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Exposure to noisy and dusty conditions
Work Setting
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Testing and servicing of electrical systems
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests and monitor the electrical and mechanical status of machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical devices
  • Replace or refurbish shafts, bearings, commutators, and other essential components
  • Weld or braze parts as necessary
  • Perform machining tasks to recondition or modify components
  • Inspect and repair faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear
  • Test repaired motors and other electrical apparatus to confirm proper functionality
