Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Register incoming guests and allocate rooms accordingly
  • Manage group arrivals and departures efficiently
  • Handle room reservations, including taking, canceling, and modifying bookings
  • Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel amenities and services
  • Offer insights about local attractions and points of interest
  • Facilitate foreign currency exchanges
  • Process guest check-outs, calculate charges, and accept payments
  • Maintain accurate cash balances and complete financial reports
  • Keep track of room availability, reservations, and assignments
  • Adhere to emergency and safety protocols
  • Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages effectively
  • Assist guests with special requirements
  • Contact guests to provide requested wake-up calls
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
Technical Skills
  • Experience with multi-line switchboards
  • Proficient in word processing software
  • Familiarity with database management systems
  • Knowledge of computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Experience with central reservation systems (CRS)
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications
  • Competent in internet usage
