This position demands a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, strong strategic acumen, and exceptional interpersonal abilities. Acting as a trusted consultant to senior management, frontline leaders, and employees, the HRBP works in close collaboration with the P&C team to implement programs that are strategically aligned with both business and workforce planning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic ally to designated leadership teams within specific subsidiary operations, concentrating on planning and executing the people aspects of the business strategy. This includes enhancing organizational capacity, improving capability, elevating employee experience, and managing associated risks. Additionally, focus on promoting employee performance and development to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Address employee issues, conflicts, and grievances promptly and equitably, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Facilitate and conduct termination discussions for both field and office personnel.
  • Ensure that employee data is accurately maintained within the employee data management system.
  • Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on legal and ethical employment matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs designed to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
  • Offer insights to business leadership regarding pay decisions, promotions, and salary adjustments in accordance with market trends and internal equity.
  • Influence and support the development and execution of programs, processes, and services within the P&C team.
  • Collaborate with the Organizational Development team to create a cohesive approach to employee development, talent assessments, succession planning, and internal mobility to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Champion the rollout of organizational development initiatives, including leadership training, succession planning, and employee training programs.
  • Aid the organization in identifying high-potential employees and assist in formulating development plans that align with organizational goals.
  • Support the implementation of performance management frameworks, including annual reviews and ongoing feedback mechanisms.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to evaluate recruitment needs concerning the acquisition strategy and collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists to implement relevant strategies.
  • Provide change management consulting to facilitate the successful execution of organizational changes.
  • Utilize internal and external people trends to influence business strategies in alignment with the strategic plan.
  • Regularly gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure that planning, projects, services, and support provided align with the needs of the business area.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Previous experience with annual compensation cycles is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Proven ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
