Job Summary

The Business Partner is a key role within Compass Group Canada, responsible for providing strategic HR support to senior leaders and business units. This position requires a strong understanding of HR functional areas and the ability to drive business results through effective partnership and consultation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in HR management, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning. They will be able to provide confidential guidance and support to leaders, while also developing and implementing People & Culture programs that drive business productivity and retention.

The Business Partner will work closely with business leaders to foster open communication and trust, and will serve as a leadership coach and confidant. They will also be responsible for managing acquisition due diligence and working with Centres of Excellence to best support client groups.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic HR support to senior leaders and business units
  • Developing and implementing People & Culture programs
  • Managing acquisition due diligence
  • Working with Centres of Excellence to support client groups
  • Serving as a leadership coach and confidant

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR management, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning. They will be able to provide confidential guidance and support to leaders, while also developing and implementing effective HR strategies.
