Bilingual Receivables Management Supervisor

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of our finance team, you will spearhead the Receivables and Collections Management operations for Medavie Blue Cross and Medavie Health Services. Your leadership will guide multiple teams across various sectors under the Medavie Inc. umbrella, ensuring the effective execution of receivables and collections tasks while delivering exceptional service to our clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing the billing, receivables, and collections operations along with unit leaders throughout the Medavie Inc. organization.
- Establishing and maintaining robust controls and ensuring that operational processes are efficient, effective, and consistent across the board.
- Fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
- Assisting in the preparation and development of financial analyses, specialized reports, and inquiries for senior finance leadership as needed.
- Driving process improvement initiatives and advocating for ongoing automation within the department.
Qualifications:
- Completion of post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or insurance, or equivalent professional experience.
- A degree or designation in accounting or finance is considered advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in billing, receivables management, and collections.
- Proven leadership experience in an operational environment is essential.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
