Job Summary

NuAge Foam Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman/Woman to oversee the daily operations of our mattress manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality mattresses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 production staff members
    • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
    • Monitor and control production costs and inventory levels
  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality products
    • Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Training and Development
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to production staff members
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve production efficiency and quality
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
    • Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
