Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mattress Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at NuAge Foam Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mattress manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Task Management: Prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules, and train or arrange for training to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the safety of operations, recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, support social and labour market integration, and recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training, mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Veterans: Recruit Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, provide cultural competency training, and create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
