Job Summary

NuAge Foam Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman/Woman to oversee the daily operations of our mattress manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality mattresses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 production staff
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand
    • Monitor and control production costs to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high-quality products
    • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished goods
    • Implement just-in-time inventory management to minimize waste and reduce costs
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols
    • Conduct regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
