About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Farm Foreman/Woman at Benning Investments Ltd. This is a permanent position that requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate crop growth and development, taking into account water saturation, light, and temperature.
  • Cut and harvest agricultural crops, ensuring high-quality yields.
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize farm operations.
  • Direct and supervise agricultural crop deleafing activities, greenhouse cleaning, and other farm duties.
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records.
  • Perform general farm duties, including mixing fertilizer and maintaining equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Organized and able to work independently.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

This is a 40-hour per week position that requires working in a fast-paced farm environment. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be physically able to perform the duties of the role.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
