We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that optimize profitability within our asset-based transportation division.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends to adjust pricing models proactively.
- Lead business intelligence efforts by creating, maintaining, and improving data models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze the financial performance of transportation services, identifying revenue leakage, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for margin improvement.
- Prepare regular pricing performance reports, including profitability analysis, pricing elasticity, and market competitiveness.
- Support annual budget planning and forecasting activities for transportation operations.
- Work closely with finance, sales, operations, and customer service teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Communicate pricing strategies and market conditions to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a small team of analysts responsible for pricing and business intelligence functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing, data analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in transportation or supply chain logistics.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing pricing strategies in an asset-based transportation environment.
- Proficient in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
