Restaurant Manager Job Description

Ami's Kitchen Inc is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and be able to lead a team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective food, ingredient, and supply purchases.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Collaborate with the culinary team to modify menu offerings and prices based on budgetary constraints.
  • Staff Management: Plan and organize daily operations, set staff schedules, and provide training to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in food service management an asset
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language required
