Restaurant Manager Job Description

Ami's Kitchen Inc is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, from food preparation to customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure cost-effective food, ingredient, and supply purchases.

Menu Planning and Pricing

Modify menu items and prices to align with the restaurant's budget and customer preferences.

Staff Management

Plan and organize daily operations, set staff schedules, and provide training to ensure excellent customer service.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of food and other supplies.

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset.
