  3. Strategic Development & Execution: Ensure compliance with regional cybersecurity regulations and provide a unified voice for the global regulatory landscape. Balance CIBC's legal obligations with industry best practices, capabilities, risk factors, and costs. Plan, develop, implement, and coordinate all activities related to subsidiary and international cybersecurity governance. Collaborate with Strategy, Policy, and Communications teams to stay informed about legal, regulatory, and technological advancements in security governance. Gather and analyze regional security metrics to track trends and report on security risks, enhancing the Information Security department's ability to communicate these risks effectively.
Who You Are

You possess a deep understanding of effective influence strategies and can impact outcomes both within and outside your organization. You are knowledgeable about the total Information Technology (IT) landscape and have insights into market trends related to Information Security Management and Risk Management.

You are passionate about fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership to build the future of banking and deliver solutions that adapt to our clients' evolving needs.

You are a proactive and accountable leader with experience in developing and executing strategic team objectives. You excel in coaching team members and driving high performance.

You take ownership of your work, thriving in environments where you can lead initiatives and exceed expectations.

Your values align with ours, as you bring your authentic self to work and embody our principles of trust, teamwork, and accountability.

Minimum Requirements
  • Completion of security checks, including a criminal record verification, is required prior to commencing this role.
