Head of Cybersecurity Partnership Programs

In this role, you will:
- Oversee program execution: Manage all facets of program delivery to ensure that cybersecurity partnership initiatives, projects, and student engagement sessions are carried out efficiently, including scope, timelines, costs, performance metrics, communication, resource allocation, contracts, materials, feedback surveys, and post-event presentations.
- Engage stakeholders: Foster and maintain relationships with current and prospective cybersecurity partners, ensuring their needs and requirements are met, including the management of partnership agreements.
- Maintain databases: Regularly update and manage the cybersecurity partnership databases to ensure accurate and accessible information.
- Document meetings: Take minutes during meetings and follow up on action items related to partnerships.
- Conduct research: Analyze and synthesize business requirements to support new cybersecurity partnership initiatives.
- Prepare reports: Draft project reports, technical documents, status updates, requirements, briefing notes, and presentations in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Develop KPIs: Create and sustain a KPI tracking framework to support cybersecurity partnership efforts, analyzing KPIs to identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
- Collaborate internally: Work with internal teams such as IS&C, Human Resources, Global Communications, Legal, and Procurement as necessary.
- Manage relationships: Ensure that all aspects of assigned partnerships receive ongoing attention to maintain, enhance, and retain these relationships through effective management of cybersecurity partners and programs.
- Prepare executive briefs: Create executive-level summaries and presentations that highlight data-driven outcomes.
- Mentor students: Supervise, motivate, and guide co-op/intern students, when applicable, to support cybersecurity talent engagement initiatives.
- Understand risk management: Recognize how the organization’s risk appetite and culture influence daily operations and decision-making.
- Promote operational efficiency: Strive for effective and efficient operations in alignment with Scotiabank's values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring compliance with operational, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations.
- Champion inclusivity: Contribute to a high-performance environment and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
- Assist with additional duties: Support other responsibilities as needed to fulfill the Cybersecurity Partnerships and Training mandate.
Do you possess the skills necessary for success in this role?
- 5 years of experience in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, ideally within a financial services context.
- An undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong project and event management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in facilitating multidisciplinary project teams and collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in managing stakeholder engagement and relationships, ensuring the needs of current and future cybersecurity partners are met.
- Adept at ensuring that all aspects of assigned partnerships receive continuous attention for improvement and retention.
- Skilled in designing and supporting strategic initiatives, developing recommendations, and creating written content, presentations, and reports.
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills to build strong connections with stakeholders and industry groups.
- Capable of providing timely updates on project statuses, including risks, to management and project teams.
- Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, visualize, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with precision.
- Expert in conducting research to analyze and synthesize business requirements for new cybersecurity partnership initiatives.
- Proficient in data analysis software (Excel and Power BI) and capable of developing and maintaining a KPI tracking framework.
- Experienced in drafting various reports and documents in collaboration with stakeholders while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, understanding their mandates and incorporating them into strategy.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence teams that do not report directly.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple projects without compromising quality and timelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- A strategic thinker capable of researching, creating, and advocating for innovative solutions.
- A highly developed interpersonal communication style; self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
