Job Summary:The Convenience Store Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our convenience store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and promote the store.
- Financial Management: Manage the store's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenses.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or convenience store management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in point of sale systems and inventory control software.
