About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Azores Cambridge Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Ensure that store displays are visually appealing and merchandise is properly stocked and rotated to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, manage stock levels, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, customer feedback, and other relevant data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience or equivalent.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a dynamic environment.
