Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Assistant to join our team at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, students, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the front desk team, including data entry, filing, and organization of patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, students, and faculty to provide information and resolve inquiries.
  • Manage patient scheduling, including appointment bookings and cancellations.
  • Process fee-for-service payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure the front desk area is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in administrative/business or related studies.
  • Strong computer literacy in administrative support programs, including MS Word, Excel, and databases.
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and financial systems.
  • Experience in a customer service-focused environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting.
  • Knowledge of naturopathic medicine and its principles.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
