Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Slave Lake Accommodations LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our guests.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor.
  • Client focus, flexibility, and reliability.
