Food Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, ensuring that they are working effectively to meet our sales targets.
- Inventory Management: Order merchandise, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and sales.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
- Store Operations: Establish work schedules, manage staff rotas, and ensure that the store is clean and well-maintained.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail or food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
- Work Schedule: 37.5 to 44 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
