Role Overview
As a Bilingual Business Partner in Finance, you will play a pivotal role in delivering financial insights and guidance to various stakeholders. Your expertise will assist in establishing effective financial processes that enhance decision-making and strategic planning. You will build a robust understanding of business operations through detailed analysis and constructive dialogue, ensuring financial needs are met while fostering trust as a key business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a proactive financial advisor, comprehending business strategies and delivering relevant insights to enhance performance and decision-making. Foster a collaborative environment by understanding both financial and operational needs, providing insightful analysis and recommendations. Consult with internal stakeholders, from management to senior executives, offering guidance on special projects and unique business scenarios. Advise clients on developing business and cost driver analyses, monthly forecasts, and comprehensive financial plans. Champion the creation of management reports and financial models, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Streamline financial processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable enhancements. Mentor teams in developing and documenting financial strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Implement performance measurement systems that deliver insights into operational and strategic metrics.

Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or commerce. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance, business analysis, and strategic support. Familiarity with financial regulations and legislative environments. Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively. Strong prioritization skills in a dynamic work environment. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities. Proficiency in various software applications and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to analyze information and summarize key recommendations effectively. Bilingualism (English and French).

Preferred Qualifications:

An MBA or professional designation (CA, CFA, CGA, CMA, CPA). Experience with IFRS.
