Role Overview
In the capacity of Associate, Finance Business Partner within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide essential financial guidance to clients. Your role will involve fostering business partnerships to enhance financial processes and deliver valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs.
- Guide the execution of forecasting processes to produce timely and detailed forecasts using innovative techniques.
- Conduct financial and impact analyses, delivering insights that clarify the implications of key business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in areas such as costing, risk management, and financial reporting.
- Support the analysis of business strategies and policies, identifying trends and recommending solutions.
- Perform in-depth analysis of FTE consumption and budget variances to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Provide well-supported financial recommendations based on thorough analysis and identified risks.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of financial performance indicators to meet stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications:
- A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or commerce.
- At least three years of experience in finance and business analysis.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and French.
- Proficiency in financial software and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to synthesize information and summarize recommendations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An MBA or relevant professional designation (CA, CFA, CGA, CMA, CPA).
