About the Role

In the capacity of Associate, Finance Business Partner within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide essential financial guidance to clients. Your role will involve establishing effective financial processes that yield valuable insights for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner, fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs.
  • Guide the development and execution of forecasting processes, utilizing innovative techniques and tools.
  • Prepare financial analyses and models to deliver insights, using clear business terminology and visual aids.
  • Identify and recommend improvements for non-value-added processes related to financial management.
  • Support the formulation of financial implications for business strategies by analyzing trends and recommending solutions.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial activities, ensuring alignment with corporate budgets.
  • Provide well-supported financial recommendations based on proactive analysis and identified risks.
  • Contribute to the establishment and monitoring of financial performance indicators to meet stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or commerce.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in finance and business analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and environments.
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and French.
  • Proficiency in software applications and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze information and summarize key recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or relevant professional designation (CA, CFA, CGA, CMA, CPA).
