About the Role

As a Senior Business Partner in Finance, you will be an integral part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Your role will involve delivering strategic and operational financial advisory services. You will establish effective financial processes and provide valuable insights that inform financial decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of business operations through analysis and discussions.
  • Leading initiatives aimed at improving financial processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Conducting financial modeling and reporting on performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative relationship with business units, providing proactive financial analysis and guidance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries, ensuring clarity in financial processes.
  • Drive improvements in financial operations, focusing on efficiency and value creation.
  • Collaborate on the development and monitoring of performance indicators to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Deliver insightful analysis on business performance, advising senior management on optimization strategies.
  • Support internal clients with financial planning, risk management, and policy adherence.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in finance roles such as FP&A, Business Analysis, or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or professional accounting designation (CPA).
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or a Green Belt in process improvement.
