Role Overview:

We seek a results-driven and customer-centric Business Development Manager for the Northeast Ontario region. This role requires residence in the designated area and is focused on individual contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies for a specific territory.
  • Assess current and prospective clients to create tailored action plans.
  • Enhance market share by promoting our comprehensive solutions.
  • Foster team commitment towards shared objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Maximize customer profitability through various initiatives.
  • Formulate strategies for new contracts and renewals.
  • Address clients' Occupational Health and Safety challenges with innovative solutions through a consultative approach.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven sales record.
  • Passionate about excellence and committed to personal and professional growth.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong planning and execution capabilities.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office, with a valid driver's license.
  • Able to work autonomously from a home office.
  • Aspiring to grow as a leader within SPI.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Effective leader with direct or indirect leadership experience.

Qualifications:

  • Consultative sales approach.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive industry contacts across various markets.
  • Experience with Health and Safety products is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
