The Territory Sales Manager is a key position responsible for driving business growth and maintaining a strong presence in a specific territory. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with key decision-makers and retail teams, leveraging sales data and analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, profitable customer relationships with store management and sales associates.
- Educate and engage customers on the value of Dyson products and solutions.
- Utilize analytical skills to discover opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Partner with key decision-makers on sales reviews and proactive sales-building opportunities.
- Create and execute plans with clear measures, track results, and provide post-mortem analysis.
- Understand and communicate the Dyson brand value proposition to add credibility to growth asks.
- Provide clear, concise communications to field leadership on potential opportunities, including clear measures of impact and possible ROI for alignment.
- Collaborate with internal partners to support sales requests.
- Conduct engaging and relevant training sessions with retail partners on product features, functions, and sales techniques.
- Monitor stock compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate inventory.
- Maintain accurate in-store signage, displays, pricing, and promo adherence to uphold brand integrity.
- Lead a team of Dyson Demonstrators within the territory, utilizing the Dyson Canada Selling Methodologies and tools available.
- Coach and manage a team of Dyson Experts strategically placed throughout the territory.
- Share added value insights and best practices with the field team and leadership.
Located in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, this role requires at least 2 years of strong retail sales experience, preferably in territory sales or store management. Experience in cosmetics, hair, beauty territory sales or store management is an asset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achievements, excellent execution skills, business acumen, and people leadership and management experience. A valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to travel within the territory are required. Comfortable with some potential overnight travel.
