Job Summary:

Intertek is seeking a highly skilled Manufactured Housing Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team in Coquitlam, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our sales team, conducting drawing reviews and approvals, and performing engineering evaluations to ensure conformity to North American Building Codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to sales team to determine project scope, pricing estimates, and project timelines.
  • Conduct drawing reviews and approvals for factory-built residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  • Perform engineering evaluations to determine conformity of construction products to North American Building Codes.
  • Visit manufacturing facilities to conduct plant Quality Control Audits and Technical Inspections of modular buildings.
  • Develop in-plant Quality Control Programs, including assembling Quality Control Manuals.
  • Assemble Certification Listing Reports based on Quality Control and Technical information gathered during audits and inspections.
  • Conduct code evaluations of engineered building products and reviews of production processes.
  • Attend technical or industry association meetings.
  • Travel to various client sites in North America, with possible overseas travel.
