Position Overview

Hybrid | Full-time (1-Year+ Contract) | Senior Level

This position is responsible for leading the training, communication, and change management initiatives for an Oracle ERP implementation that impacts finance and supply chain operations across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business and functional leaders, as well as the ERP Project team, to evaluate, develop, and implement optimal practices for managing the changes necessitated by the software deployment.
  • Facilitate the creation and execution of training materials and project communications to ensure a successful software implementation.
  • Engage with laboratory managers and regional business leaders to formulate and execute strategies for organizational change management, user engagement, training, and communications.
  • Conduct meetings with business and functional leaders to pinpoint critical change aspects, developing detailed plans to address significant challenges and opportunities throughout the project phases.
  • Establish a Change Champion network for Finance and Procurement/Supply Chain to foster early engagement and equip participants with training resources.
  • Devise a comprehensive training strategy and detailed project plans aligned with the training and organizational change management approach.
  • Provide regular project status updates and introductory communications to the user community.
  • Manage the scheduling of training participants and sessions, organizing necessary resources to facilitate the training program.
  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of the training program and report on its performance.
  • Support the creation of essential procedures, guidelines, and forms to enhance the use of the Oracle ERP software.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • A thorough understanding of contemporary learning and development methodologies.
  • Experience in large-scale transformation projects within dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in crafting organizational change management plans that define scope, schedule, roles, responsibilities, risks, and assumptions.
  • The ability to create strategic communication materials, lead training sessions, and conduct workshops for IT programs.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion), Supply Chain Management, and Finance across multiple implementation cycles is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Workday) is acceptable.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical information for end-users.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years in training, software implementation, change management, or related roles.
  • A BA or BS degree in Communications, Computer Science, Training, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in laboratory, testing, and certification environments is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

An estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $105,000 CAD is offered, with individual pay determined by job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
