We are looking for a ERP Finance Transformation Consultant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance ERP, you will oversee various ERP and process enhancement initiatives, maximizing the capabilities of our ERP systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical abilities, and experience in executing finance transformation projects. As the ERP Finance Transformation Consultant, you will...
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional designs for solutions in partnership with internal technology and external consulting teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to transition financial data and processes from various ERP systems to Sage X3.
- Establish and implement Global Financial Master Data and Process Standards.
- Create and execute testing plans to validate the functionality and performance of solutions, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Co-develop training plans and materials to facilitate end-user training and promote the adoption and sustainability of solutions.
- Identify change impacts and collaborate with key stakeholders to manage the change process effectively.
- Recognize risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all implemented system and process changes comply with SOX regulations.
- Assist Finance Leaders with reporting requirements for senior stakeholders and other essential deliverables.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, project teams, and external partners.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Ensure systems support the accuracy and compliance of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Facilitate financial analysis, variance analysis, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
As an experienced professional, you will have...
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Experience in implementing finance transformation projects, with prior ERP implementation experience preferred.
- Financial consolidation experience.
- Proficiency in Sage X3 and other financial ERP systems.
- Experience in a SOX governed environment.
- Proven ability to efficiently manage and oversee accounting operations.
