Organizational Change Leader

The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) is seeking an experienced Change Manager to spearhead significant organizational transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in guiding the organization through complex changes and ensuring successful implementation.

As the Change Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the potential risks and impacts associated with change initiatives.
  • Assessing the readiness of the organization for change and developing tailored change management strategies.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to gather essential information for effective change management planning.
  • Leading the execution of change initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project scopes.
  • Establishing a robust communication strategy to convey key messages to the target audience, fostering understanding and support for the changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive change management project requirements, including impact assessments and communication plans.
  • Cultivate relationships and facilitate networking among diverse stakeholder groups to advance collective change management goals.
  • Enhance organizational capacity through knowledge sharing and training initiatives with operational leaders and external partners.
  • Utilize effective tools and methodologies to assess and manage the impact of transformational changes.
  • Consult with stakeholders on complex changes, fostering strong relationships across various groups.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to coordinate change activities and address emerging issues.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Health or Business Administration, Leadership, or Organizational Development, coupled with five to ten years of experience in change management.
  • Training in change management methodologies is advantageous.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI) is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the public sector, social sector, or healthcare is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • A commitment to fostering reconciliation and understanding in accordance with relevant Indigenous rights frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the socio-economic and historical contexts affecting Indigenous communities is a valuable asset.

Wage Information

Compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's education and experience, aligned with the provincial compensation reference plan.
