Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist & TrackOne Liaison (11 Month Term)

About Us:
The Engineering Student Recruitment & Outreach Office serves as the primary resource for individuals interested in pursuing an education at a leading engineering institution. Our proactive recruitment team disseminates information about our Faculty's esteemed programs to students globally, assists prospective students and their families throughout the application and admissions process, and ensures a seamless transition into the first year of study.

Your Role:
Under the guidance of the Associate Registrar & Director of Engineering Student Recruitment & Outreach, you will be an integral part of the central team dedicated to attracting top-tier students both nationally and internationally. Your primary focus will be on recruiting students into engineering programs and facilitating a variety of educational and engaging events designed to enhance the applicant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to shape recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a network of external contacts to bolster recruitment efforts.
  • Identify suitable schools for visits based on feedback and market trends analysis.
  • Deliver engaging presentations for student recruitment.
  • Promote academic programs at various recruitment events.
  • Create content for marketing and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and track recruitment activities effectively.
  • Provide guidance to potential applicants, students, parents, and guidance counselors regarding admissions criteria and processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a suitable combination of equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including event planning and volunteer management, ideally in a recruitment, student life, or marketing context.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Proven ability to present to both large and small audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of university-level education and programs.
  • Familiarity with various high school curricula, English language proficiency requirements, and university admission standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Slate, and Tableau.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Strong relationship management, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Assertive and persuasive in establishing relationships and conveying important information.
  • Proven ability to achieve results in high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as required.
