Key Responsibilities
  • Creating legendary guest experiences
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Acting manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager
  • Providing courteous assistance to guests and team members as needed, reinforcing all Canalta's policies and procedures
  • Leading the guest service and housekeeping teams by example at an extremely high level
  • Providing training, coaching, and guidance to guest service agents and room attendants
  • Completion of all required training
  • Actively working to build a high-functioning, motivated, and engaged team
  • Maintaining the highest of cleanliness standards according to Canalta standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Maintaining productivity and labor costs according to budgets
  • Organizing your time effectively and efficiently
  • Completion of required paperwork
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements
  • Five years of experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills and experience in using Office 365
  • Willingness to work overtime, irregular hours, and holidays
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and training opportunities
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
