Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Hotel Night Auditor at Almac Motor Hotel. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the hotel's inventory and reservations system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Financial Transactions
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory and Reservations
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
    • Assist with clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an asset.

Work Environment

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English. The Night Auditor will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and will be expected to stand for extended periods of time.
