Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mixology Expert to join our team at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service: Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Mixology expertise: Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages, maintaining knowledge of all menu items and offerings.
  • Food and beverage service: Take orders, deliver food and beverage items promptly, and maintain accurate guest checks/folios.
  • Outlet policies and procedures: Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage, and adhere to outlet policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow colleagues to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience: Minimum 1 year of bartending experience and previous food and beverage service experience in a similar setting.
  • Certifications: Valid Alberta ProServe certification required.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of all beverage products, mixology knowledge and skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal qualities: Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
