We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our team at Mag Events Ltd. as a key member of our hospitality staff.

Responsibilities:

  • **Maintain a Clean and Organized Bar Area**: Ensure the bar is clean, well-stocked, and organized at all times.
  • **Provide Expert Wine Selection**: Advise patrons on wine selection and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • **Supervise Food and Beverage Servers**: Oversee the work of food and beverage servers and other staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • **Process Payments**: Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment methods for beverages sold.
  • **Inventory Management**: Store beverage and food products, order bar stock, and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
  • **Take Beverage Orders**: Take orders from serving staff or directly from patrons and ensure timely delivery.
  • **Menu Recommendations**: Advise patrons on menu selections and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • **Customer Service**: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • **Work Term and Hours**: This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • **Language**: English is the primary language used in this role.
