Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Neighbourhood Pub. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a tidy workspace.
  • Customer Service: Serve food and snacks, provide drink recommendations, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Payment and Cash Handling: Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages and operate the cash register accurately.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards.
  • Communication: Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons and communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless service.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout your shift.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
