Role Overview:
As the Store Manager, you will cultivate and maintain a high-performing team, establish a consistent environment of exceptional customer service, and surpass sales objectives. You are a dynamic, attentive, and inspiring leader who excels in building relationships with both team members and customers, serving as a mentor, leader, and coach. Your leadership will foster a culture of high performance and five-star customer service by maximizing the effectiveness and productivity of a motivated, friendly, enthusiastic, and engaged team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer-Centric Leadership
• Model and promote a customer-first culture across all roles.
• Ensure the leadership team is accountable for active floor management by assigning shifts, reviewing outcomes, and providing constructive feedback to maintain a five-star customer experience.
• Offer continuous coaching and training to enhance individual selling skills and behaviors. - Performance Analysis and Decision Making
• Manage store payroll to ensure adherence to the monthly budget, accurately monitoring and acknowledging timesheets for all roles.
• Lead the store to consistently achieve Total Monthly Income (TMI) Goals through foundational excellence and performance-based leadership.
• Oversee inventory management, special orders, receiving processes, and ensure first-quality standards for all merchandise. - Performance Management
• Communicate daily sales goals to all team members and drive action through regular performance discussions.
• Monitor individual team member performance and develop improvement plans based on customer feedback and evaluations.
• Build a strong talent pipeline, ensuring the store is adequately staffed to meet all operational goals.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree is preferred.
Four years of prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
Experience with a computerized POS system is required.
Work Environment:
Full-time position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; reach for tools and objects; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate with customers. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and possess the ability to see up close and at a distance.
