About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Expert to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment, troubleshooting and modifying software programs for material handling control systems, and providing technical support to our control system technician teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement control systems assessments to maintain and improve equipment reliability
  • Partner with Facility Operations leadership, equipment vendors, and parts suppliers to plan and coordinate new technology installations
  • Communicate technical issues and project timelines with building leadership, operations, and the maintenance team
  • Develop training plans for Control Systems Technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Motor Controls, programming HMI components, and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs
  • 5+ years of experience with Robotics system components and controls
  • 3+ years with SCADA systems and KPI's
  • Experience interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in the Electrical fields, or in Control Systems development, troubleshooting, and programming
  • 4+ years of experience supporting advanced automation controls systems maintenance and development
  • 3+ years of experience supporting a wide range of conveyors and sortation systems
  • Leadership and project management experience

Compensation

The estimated compensation for this position is $48.00 – $48.96 CAD per year, including bonus, if applicable.
