About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Manager to join our team at International Testing Laboratory Inc. as a System Integration Expert. This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations of the IT department.
    • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems to ensure efficient and secure operations.
    • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services, and meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
    • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 1-2 IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in a senior IT role, with a focus on system integration, quality assurance, and team management.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of computer programming, desktop applications, and MS SQL Server.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
