At Sunrise Senior Living, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a key member of our team, the Activities & Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role in leading the day-to-day activities and programs that enrich the lives of our residents.

**Responsibilities & Qualifications**

  • Lead volunteer-based activities and programs that promote socialization, engagement, and well-being among residents.
  • Collaborate with other department coordinators and the executive director to develop and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses, and social organizations to establish a network of volunteers and community resources.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of activities and events that cater to diverse resident interests and preferences.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Lead a high-performing team by recruiting, hiring, coaching, and retaining top talent.

**Requirements**

  • At least one year of supervisory experience in a senior living environment.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to train and motivate volunteers and team members to deliver exceptional activity programming.
  • Maintain necessary state-level certifications or licenses, such as CDL.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident care and services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
