**Job Overview**

At Sunrise Senior Living, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in leading our community's day-to-day activities and programs.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement engaging volunteer-based activities and programs that enrich the lives of our residents.
  • Collaborate with our department coordinators and executive director to establish relationships with local schools, businesses, and social organizations to secure a network of volunteers and community resources.
  • Manage a calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family-centered experiences.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets to meet revenue and budget targets.
  • Lead a high-performing team by recruiting, hiring, coaching, and retaining top talent.

**Qualifications:**

  • At least one year of job-related supervisory experience, preferably in a senior living environment.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to train and motivate volunteers and team members to deliver exceptional quality activity programming.
  • Maintain all necessary state-level certifications or licenses, such as CDL.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to resident care and services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of residents and team members.
