Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Makhan Gujjar Transport Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity for a Class 1 Driver to work with our team, driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, loading and unloading goods, and overseeing the condition of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border
