Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Makhan Gujjar Transport Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, performing routine checks on tires, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Documentation: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience as a Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Communication Systems: Experience with GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial experience.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to sit for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, reliable, and willing to travel cross-border.
