Job Summary

Gordon Food Service Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
  • Logistics: Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes, manage inventory, and ensure efficient delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
