About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Express Truck Center. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with supervisors to determine the best course of action.
  • Discuss work with supervisors to ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide accurate reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including advising them on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or equivalent.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks.
  • Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
