Key Responsibilities

As a Truck and Coach Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Collaborating with supervisors to assess whether to repair or replace units.
  • Conducting inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults.
  • Reviewing work orders and performing road tests on vehicles.
  • Providing estimates for parts and labor costs associated with maintenance and repairs.
  • Coaching and instructing apprentices in the workshop.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and advising clients on repair needs.
Certifications and Licenses

Required certifications include:

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Driver's License (Class 2 or B or C)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
