About the Role

Woodfibre Management Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive maintenance plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and efficient execution of maintenance work.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to identify and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimizing downtime.
  • Utilize advanced planning and scheduling tools, such as SAP-PM, Primavera, and MS-Project, to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
  • Develop and maintain a resource-leveled schedule, ensuring that maintenance activities are properly sequenced and resourced to meet business needs.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues associated with maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders on maintenance activities, progress, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services and materials.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, procedures, and technologies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a petrochemical, oil refinery, or heavy industrial facility.
  • Advanced experience with SAP-PM, SAP-MM, Primavera, MS-Project, and other work platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality maintenance plans and schedules, resulting in improved efficiency, reduced downtime, and cost savings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
