Woodfibre Management Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Woodfibre LNG Project in Squamish, British Columbia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely execution of maintenance work.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to identify and prioritize maintenance activities, optimize resource utilization, and minimize downtime.
- Use CMMS and scheduling tools (Primavera P6 and MS Project) to plan, schedule, and track maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of maintenance work and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Support project commissioning activities for maintenance discipline and align priorities for TA/SD Maintenance Execution.
- 8+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a petrochemical, oil refinery, or heavy industrial facility with similar equipment used in Oil & Gas industries.
- Advanced experience with SAP-PM & SAP-MM CMMS (SAP-Blueprint or S4H), Primavera, MS-Project & other work platforms.
- Maintenance planning & scheduling experience in Turnarounds/Shutdowns is preferred.
- Experience in front-line maintenance execution.
- Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams in a multicultural environment is an asset.
- Ability to interact/communicate with front-line workers through to management and all hierarchical levels.
- Able to accept responsibility and demonstrate commitment to the delivery of tasks and targets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-driven, manage evolving priorities, and deliver on multiple commitments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates & seeks accountability within the team, shares knowledge & encourages personal development.
- Innovative, motivated, and willing to take ownership of tasks with energetic pursuit of continuous improvement.
- A valid driver's license.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
